Bailishi Cement-Based Self-Leveling Compound

Bailishi Cement-Based Self-Leveling Compound is composed of special cement, aggregates, and various additives. In the fresh state it has excellent flowability and uniformity, allowing it to flow and self-level automatically on cement-based floors. It is mainly suitable for rapid precision leveling of conventional concrete floors.

Application Range

• Suitable for precision leveling of indoor floors in residential, office, and public buildings
• After hardening, the leveled self-leveling mortar can be directly covered with finishing materials such as ceramic tiles, PVC sheets, carpets, and wood flooring
• Recommended application thickness is 3–10mm

Reference Dosage

1.7kg per square meter per millimeter thickness.

Tools Required

Transport and Storage

• Avoid rain exposure and impact during transport to prevent damage to packaging
• Store in a cool, dry warehouse, protected from moisture. Do not allow contact with water
• Under normal transport and storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months

Construction Method

• Substrate preparation: The substrate must be solid, dust-free, free of standing water, sharp corners, and voids. Prime the surface with Bailishi universal primer. To ensure effective sealing, the primer is usually applied in two coats. Self-leveling mortar should be applied only after the primer is thoroughly dry
• Mixing: First add water to the mixing bucket, then add the powder. Mix thoroughly with a powerful mixer until uniform and lump-free. The mixing ratio is powder : water = 1 : 0.22 (25kg powder with 5.5L water). Mix with an electric mixer for 1–2 minutes. The mixed self-leveling mortar must be used within 30 minutes
• Application: Pour the mixed slurry onto the dry primed floor from the inside outward, spread with a notched trowel, and continuously roll with a spiked roller to remove bubbles. Self-leveling application should be continuous, and defoaming must be completed within 15 minutes after pouring. When the working width exceeds 6–8 meters, the construction should be divided into sections. Before installing separation strips, mark the lines; after removing the strips, protect the hardened edges to prevent fresh material from flowing onto the hardened surface

Precautions

• Construction temperature should be 5°C to 35°C
• Do not add sand, cement, or other additives during mixing
• Never add water into already set mortar and reuse it
• The mixed mortar must be used within 30 minutes to prevent loss of flowability
