Bailishi Two-Component Tile Back Adhesive Bonding Agent

Bailishi two-component tile back adhesive is a green, eco-friendly product consisting of a powder component and a liquid component. The powder is formulated from high-quality cement, refined sand, and modifiers, while the liquid is a blend of polymer emulsion and modifiers. It is a high-performance anti-detachment primer and enhancer with superior bonding strength, combining strong adhesion with an environmentally friendly water-based dispersion system. Once the adhesive penetrates and cures, it significantly strengthens the bond between the prepared substrate and the cement mortar. The product features a specific elasticity coefficient that fully accommodates the thermal expansion and contraction of tiles and stone, ensuring secure interfacial bonding, excellent durability, and effectively preventing delamination, hollow tiles, and tile loss for low-absorption vitrified tiles, marble, and granite.

Construction Guidelines

Tile Back Preparation: The back of the tile should be clean, free of oil, release agents, and other contaminants.

Adhesive Preparation: Add the liquid component to the mixing bucket first, then gradually add the powder component while stirring with an electric mixer until smooth and lump-free. The optimal usage time is 4 hours after mixing.

Application Method: Use a roller to apply the adhesive evenly onto the prepared surface (such as the back of the tile). Once the adhesive becomes transparent, immediately apply cement mortar or tile adhesive for installation.

Precautions

• The tile back must be clean, free of oil, release agents, and other contaminants
• Apply cement mortar immediately after rolling; mixed mortar should be used within 6 to 8 hours to prevent setting
• Do not add water to the adhesive; coverage must be at least 80% of the surface area
• Outdoor construction is prohibited during rain or snow
• Construction temperature must be above 0°C; absorbent tiles must not be soaked before use
• Cement grade must be 325 or above; spaced installation is recommended

Transport and Storage

• Avoid rain, sun exposure, freezing, and impact during transport
• Take insulation measures when temperatures drop below 0°C
• Store in a cool, dry warehouse, protected from moisture and frost
• Keep away from water contact during storage
• Under normal transport and storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months
